Introduction
The Family Pack is a new genealogy program to store and display family trees. It is being designed to have the following features:-
- Evidence based database design
- Multi-platform MS Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
- GEDCOM file import and export
- A built-in script language
- Windows and Mac version to run directly from a CD
The current development is concentrating on designing the database and producing a Windows alpha version of the program. On completion, this will then become an Open Source project and work will begin on creating a working beta version.
